Since our last community workshop held on August 11, 2021, city staff and the consultant team have been using the input from all four community workshops to shape long term goals, policies, and action items to address San Carlos’ housing and environmental safety needs. In addition, staff is formulating amendments to the City’s Zoning Ordinance for consistency with future policies.  As we look ahead, staff is targeting Summer 2022 to host a fifth community workshop to present draft policies and zoning amendments for public review and comment.  

Thank you to those who attended the virtual public meeting on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 6 PM; the purpose of this meeting was to gather public comments regarding the scope of environmental analysis (i.e. EIR Scoping Meeting) that will be prepared as part of this project.
